Boston Love Blanket Square
When I saw this Boston Love Blanket project I immediately wanted to get to work and make a square. The finished blanket is going to the family of one of the Boston Marathon bombing victims. I hope they feel all of the love packed into each stitch.
For my square I decided to finally try this beautiful crochet heart pattern I discovered on Pinterest several months ago. I would love to make a full blanket someday, but I really enjoyed playing with this stitch on a smaller scale. I love the blue/green ombre color scheme too!
Even though one crochet square is a small gesture, I believe handmade creations are one of the best ways to show love. I can't wait to see all of the squares sewn together for the finished blanket.
