Bath + London Adventures

I'm pretty sure I am still recovering from the dreamlike state I fell into during my time in the beautiful city of Bath. I knew it was going to be incredible but I was in no way prepared for the sheer bliss I experienced on this trip. I am so thankful everything came together and that I was able to travel to the UK for one of the most incredible experiences of my life!

I stayed at the loveliest Airbnb during my time in Bath. It was a small cottage located at the top of a hill that lead straight into the center of town. I loved being able to walk everywhere in the city from where I was staying. Thankfully I only got lost a few times...but even when I was turned around I stumbled upon some lovely shops and restaurants. I was completely blown away by the kindness of the home owners. They were so welcoming during my stay and even took the time to pray over me before I left on my last day. Their prayers and encouraging words meant the world to me. I will never forget that moment.

The best part about this trip is that I never felt alone. I was completely surrounded by the presence of the Lord and never gave into fear or anxiety. I don't really have the words to express how thankful I am for that experience.

I loved exploring the city with the lovely ladies of Mollie Makes! Lara Watson showed me around the city on my first day and took me to all of the main attractions. The Bath Abbey was majestic to say the least! I also had the opportunity to visit the Mollie Makes offices during my #MollieTakeover of their Instagram and Pinterest accounts. I loved meeting the talented ladies I have worked with for so many years. They are all so incredibly kind and hard working. They also gave me tips on shops to visit during my time in the city. One of my favorites was the lace-covered shop, Susannah. I chatted with the owner for a little while and was incredibly inspired by the hard work and passion she puts into her business.

My last day of the trip was spent outside of London at The Handmade Fair. Wow! What an event! I was blown away by the thought put into every single detail. The food trucks were unlike any I had ever seen! So vintage and charming. The tents were filled with vendors selling their handmade goods, workshop stations, and even an entire tent dedicated to afternoon tea. I had the best day exploring everything the fair had to offer. I even had the chance to teach a few people to crochet in the Mollie Makes tent. What a treat!

I am so thankful for the time I spent in Bath. I will never forget the kind people I met and the beautiful places I was able to visit.

Hopefully I will be able to return one day soon! :)
