A Black Tea Cake & Handmade Card for Mother's Day
I hope you had a great Mother's Day yesterday! I went with all handmade gifts and made my mom a cake and a card. She loved this black tea cake with honey buttercream frosting from Pastry Affair! It tastes like a cup of tea! My mom is the best. She is so kind, loving, patient, and constantly inspires me to be a better woman. Plus, my love for tea originates from my mom. She taught me well. ;)
I also made her a flower card with a pom-pom and yarn pieces!
It was a great weekend celebrating the greatest mom! :)
I am on my way to spend some time in San Francisco for the next few days! This is my first trip to SF and I hear it is a beautiful city. I can't wait to experience it all for myself! I will definitely share photos from my trip on Instagram and Twitter this week. :)
