What I Wore - Dressed Up for a Wedding

Outfit Details: Dress - from Milk & Honey (Also found online from Ruche) // Bow - Twisted Bow Felt Hair Clip c/o Ordinary Mommy // Necklace - Betsey Johnson // Purse - Vintage, Belonged to my Grandmom // Shoes - Target

My aunt got married over the weekend and my whole family came down to celebrate. I got the chance to see aunts, uncles, and cousins that I haven't seen in years! I had a great time and loved seeing my aunt so happy.

I knew my grandmom was coming to the wedding, so I decided to pay homage to her style by carrying her old purse that she gave me a few years ago. The minute she came up to give me a hug she grabbed the purse and said, "I recognize this!". I wish she saved all of her clothes from the 50s...I would gladly take them off her hands. I guess I took the "granny" look and ran with it for the rest of my outfit. Haha. I was one dressed up old lady for the wedding, that's for sure. I always seem to forget...I'm 21 not 91! Oh well. Since the dress is such a neutral color I thought I would wear my new bow sent to me by the lovely Faith of Ordinary Mommy to add a little color to the outfit. It is so sweet and in one of my favorite springtime colors too!

I'm still not sure if this outfit matches...but I like it! I guess what I've learned from all of my other outfit posts is that if it makes me feel confident, that's all that matters.

These new feelings about style and what I wear make me really happy. I've come a long way, that's for sure. :)

I hope you have a great day everyone!
